Teenage Dreams

In the world of filmmaking, the art of collaboration often goes unnoticed, yet it's an essential ingredient in creating cinematic magic. I found immense joy in teaming up with my good friend Korrie Powell for this project, contributing to both its creative development and providing valuable insights during the post-production phase. Together, we brought our unique perspectives to the table, weaving a tapestry of creativity that enriched the entire filmmaking experience.

HONG KONG

I was once told that writing down ones plans and hopes would help them become a reality. Amongst many other things, travelling the world was always something I wanted to do; to explore new places and learn about the different cultures the world has to offer.

This trip to Hong Kong had been postponed once before due to an injury that resulted in months after months of physical therapy and hospital visits, but finally, in November of 2018, I was able to go. This trip allowed me to experience a completely new culture and I won’t forget all the bright lights, the detailed artwork of the buildings and the kind people. I know now that what is meant to be, will be, and that through hard work and focus, you can achieve anything.

Time, Detail and KNOWLEDGE

I had the privilege of delving into the intricate world of the watch industry, and it proved to be an exceptional experience. The depth of knowledge and attention to detail required in this sector is truly awe-inspiring. It not only met but surpassed my expectations, offering a profound insight into a realm where precision and craftsmanship converge in an extraordinary display of skill.

SHOOTING WITH KNXX

Filming this project with Julian Knxx meant that we could explore different secluded areas of South London. This behind the scenes video shows the work put into capturing shots for a short video made to accompany a poem written by Julian Knxx himself, a poem based on his home country, Sierra Leone.

Men’s Fashion in pitti

Thrds invited me along to mens fashion week in Florence, Pitti. It was my first trip to Italy and being able to spend a couple of days exploring a new country and seeing the sophisticated yet simple style offered by Pitti, while working was awesome. I love meeting new people and working with new clients, and the Sperry team made us feel right at home.

Roots for a crown

The Short film project I have been working on with @julianknxx is screening at the @roundhouseldn on Tuesday week. I’m excited and proud to share this film.
It’s a docufiction film that explores and challenges a range of issues around black hair.

90’s in 2000’s

The vibe created for the music video of Cardo’s song, allows for a lot of creativity in the edit. The bright text contrasting with the grayscale of the actual video, stands out, and gives it a 90s vibe.

my brother’s keeper

“A good friend will help you move.”

”My Brother’s Keeper” is an upcoming collaborative project I created with fellow film maker @korrie.p . It explores the complex but yet close bond of family and friendship, focusing on the silent mental battles that many men face alone but with a friends help and guidance, how these battles can be triumphed together. Knowing someone is in your corner is half the battle won. Currently premiering on BBH’s Black Sheep Instagram
